Maniacs Fantasy Challenge - Day 30

Recaps: For Day 28 of the challenge, we had a nice win with our Tuesday night baseball entry. Paying up for pitching, combined with a nice Twins stack really put us in a great situation. Our Day 29 entry is off to a solid start as Avery Bradley went off, scoring us over 7x price value at only 16% ownership. Both of our cheap plays managed to hit near value as well. Only John Wall under performed for our squad, but in such a big blowout, (half the field had Thomas), we are left with a lot of slots and salary to blow by a lot of the field. Beal, Porter, Morris and Gortat were all misses as well... So avoiding so many of those leaves us with a lot of equity. If Leonard cannot go tomorrow, Aldridge and Simmons will both be asked to be more involved in the offense, leaving us with a lot of chances to score. Oh yeah, and we have Harden going the other way. You know he will get his...

Day 30 Entry: We are entering a golf entry (actually 3) for the Players Championship Thursday morning. Looking at the course and players recent form, we really love Matsuyama, Rose and Fowler. With DJ, Rory and Rahm sucking up ownership near them, we are guessing that only Ricky will be highly owned out of our core nucleus. All three of our lineups will have pieces of that core. We do think Kaymer will probably be the biggest chalk of the day, but that is mainly because he has a super cheap $7,300 price tag for a guy with a legit chance to win the tournament. Kyle Stanley is by no means a lock, but the man pops in so many key categories this week... so give him whirl!
