The Celtics lost to the Clippers 116-102 and disappeared for the final 16 minutes of the game. The first half was a back and forth affair where both teams traded baskets which led to the Celtics up 3 at the end of the first half. The Celtics looked like they had taken control of the game as they built a 13 point lead with 4:35 remaining in the third quarter before the team went ice cold from the field. This allowed for the Clippers to go on a 22-5 run to end the quarter and take a 4 point lead into the fourth. Throughout the 4th quarter Deandre Jordan proceeded to dunk all over the Celtics allowing the Clippers to make 16-18 shots and balloon the lead to 18 points. The Celtics would make a run and cut the lead to 9 but a Blake Griffin three put the game out of reach.
